Resources your business NEEDS
Lots of things keep a business turning on a daily basis, one of these are the resources they use on a daily basis.
At Landing Page Guys we are always trying to optimise our processes and ensure everything runs smoothly, so we are going to go through ALL of the resources we use and show you the benefits of using them, we have grouped them by category to make it easier for you to find what your business needs.
We have split everything into 4 categories:
● Project Management
● Social Media and Marketing
● Affiliate Marketing Resources
Let’s get started with Project Management.
Trello is a collaboration tool that organizes your projects into boards. In one glance, Trello tells you what’s being worked on, who’s working on what, and where something is in a process.
We have been using Trello for a long time, but now we have migrated away from Trello to Monday.com to increase our reporting capabilities, to streamline our remote team management and improve client and account manager interaction/project efficiency.
So it’s very fitting that we move on Monday next…
Monday.com is a Work Operating System (Work OS) that powers teams to run projects and workflows with confidence. It’s a simple, but intuitive, Work OS for teams to shape workflows, adjust to shifting needs, create transparency, connect collaboratively, and stop doing manual grunt work. monday.com makes teamwork click.
Monday.com is super customisable so it can be used for every use business.
From a business cost standpoint, using Trello with Zapier (the way we use it) costs us lots of money a month – and Monday.com has these automation features built in – saving time and cost. These are all really important things to consider when choosing your project management software! Trello may work better for you and your team, or you may find that Monday.com is the way to go.
Hopefully this information has helped you.
Zapier is an online automation tool that connects your favorite apps, such as Gmail, Slack, Mailchimp, and more. You can connect two or more apps to automate repetitive tasks without coding or relying on developers to build the integration… Or you can have Zapier automate this for you, saving you time and effort.
Here are some more examples of apps they can bring together:
They describe themselves as : “easy automation for busy people. Zapier moves info between your web apps automatically, so you can focus on your most important work.”
✔ Adobe Creative Cloud
We can’t mention design resources without a shout out to Adobe Creative Cloud! It’s likely that you’ve heard of at least one Adobe’s programs if you work in Design, Media or Marketing, as apps like Photoshop, Premiere, and Lightroom are the industry standard for creatives.
Adobe’s individual program licences can add up price wise if you need more than one of them, so they have grouped together all of their programs for around $50.00 a month, this is what is known as Creative Cloud.
One of the programs we use the most is Photoshop, which we will tell you more about below.

It is widely used for image editing, retouching, creating image compositions, website mockups, and adding effects. Just a quick tip for you, if you are designing a landing page NEVER use stock images for testimonials, this is one of the big pieces of advice we offer everyone as this will affect your level of social/trust proof.
The person in the stock image isn’t a real customer of yours, which is going to reflect really badly on you, take our advice and keep it real when it comes to reviews.
